Distributed SMS Aggregator (SMS Hub)

While SMS interoperability is limited to bi-lateral interworking / roaming agreements between operators, it is unlikely that full international SMS reach will be achieved by setting up more and more agreements, which are time consuming and costly to put in place. In addition to that, the revenue benefits of an extra interworking connection might not justify the investment required to set it up in the first place.

How much for example does your existing SMS wholesale platform cost per month? What is the amount of money, your company spends on a monthly basis on platform rent, all of the infrastructure, in-house IT support, and online support hours from your current platform vendor? Or course, excluding carrier costs of SMS?

If you are serious about your SMS wholesale business, you should not be spending more than 0,0002 EUR/SMS on average! With our solution you can start your new business, or improve an existing one with easy calculable costs.

No additional costs for hosting, support, or whatever else.

Our SMS wholesale solution can be set up-and-running within just a few hours, maintaining your existing level of services and increasing your flexibility and ease of daily operations.

Distributed SMPP enables a broad international SMS coverage for mobile operators through the connection to independent hubs, who have multiple agreements in place with other operators, therefore being able to route messages on behalf of the client operators.

The concept of Distributed SMPP is simple. Rather than relying on costly and multiple individual agreements, SMS traffic flows via SMS Hubs. Many operators connect to hubs to transit SMS messages, in an attempt to fix the many interoperability problems with this messaging technology. Distributed SMPP is about simplifying the SMS interworking system, by replacing much of the unproductive, identical investments in international agreements made traditionally by mobile operators.

Benefits

With the Distributed SMPP model, an operator looking to increase their international SMS coverage does not need to manage multiple bi-lateral agreements. Mobile operators can simplify this by connecting to a hub. The Distributed SMPP model reduces complexity for operators, as well the cost for SMS interworking agreements. Mobile subscribers also take advantage of an enlarged SMS reach, being able to send and receive message to all countries and networks.

How it works

  1. Every CodeB Blockchain Node has an inbuilt SMS Gateway with instant settlement capabilities.
  2. Any carrier advertises his routes via CodeB Blockchain.
  3. Any carrier can route traffic via any node as long his blockchain wallets balance have enough credits for the instant settlement.
  4. Usernames or passwords of the routes cannot leak as there is not any username/password authentication as the sender authorizes with his blockchain wallet.

Benefits

  • no cash flow issues as billing happens in realtime
  • unlimited scalability
  • realtime pricing
  • no expensive bi-lateral agreements required
